Russia’s Rambler Media has posted revenues of $20.5 million (€14.5 million) for H1 this year, or 58% more than for the corresponding period in 2006. At the same time its net profit after interest and tax amounted to $6.7 million, as opposed to a net loss of $0.5 million. Rambler Media has been a wholly Internet business-based company since January this year, when it completed the sale of Rambler TV to Osgora Productions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Prof-Media, for $23 million. Its interests include Rambler.ru, the oldest Russian Internet portal and search engine.
