A localised version of The MGM Channel will launch in Bulgaria next month. It will initially be distributed by Eurocom, which is backed by Warburg Pincus and the leading cable operator in the capital, Sofia. The MGM Channel made its regional debut on the Russian DTH platform NTV-Plus in late 2004 and has since also been introduced in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Poland, in the latter case as a HD service.
