Cambridge-based software developer ANT is describing its half year results as “frankly disappointing” after IPTV sales failed to grow at the rate it was expecting. The result is a delay in the take up of ANT’s next generation Galio Suite, with only three new Galio licences sold in the period, although the company still grew shipments of ANT enabled devices by 19% in the six months to June 30, 2007. Losses widened to £1,876,882 (€2,530,195) from £1,022,799 in the corresponding period in 2006.
The company is in the process of reducing its non-engineering related costs and has undertaken a strategic review of the business, although this is not expected to report until March 2008.
