Digital TV CEE, PRAGUE. The Czech IPTV service O2 TV aims to have at least 150,000 subscribers by this time next year, according to Michal Taborsky, the IPTV project head at Telefonica O2 Czech Republic. O2 TV launched in September and reached the 50,000-subscriber mark at the beginning of this year. In doing so, it secured a 4% share of the Czech pay-TV market. O2 TV introduced a number of new programme packages earlier this month and currently reaches 2 million households, or 49% of the country’s total.
