According to the Polish broadcaster TVN, the combined audience share for all its channels came to 20.9% in August 2007, as opposed to 19.1% 12 months earlier. In primetime, however, the figure was slightly higher at 23.7% (22% in August 2006). Although the flagship channel TVN continues to account for the majority of viewers – 14.3% and 18.5% in primetime in August 2007 – news-based TVN24 remains head and shoulders above TVN’s other services. Its audience share last month stood at 4.2%, or three times the figure 12 months earlier. The most recent addition to TVN’s portfolio of channels is TVN CNBC Biznes, with the next to join likely to be TVN Religia.
