The Romanian ISP Ines aims to register the first €1 million in revenues for its IPTV service by the end of this year, according to a local report. However, to do so its subscriber total will have to double. Ines is one of the very few companies currently offering IPTV in Romania. An exclusive service costing €1,200 a year for individuals and €3,000 a year for corporate clients, it provides four times as many channels as cable operators but at 10 times the price. Ines expects its current IPTV subscriber total of 300 to rise to 500-600 by the end of the year and 1,000 in 2008.
