Munich based broadcaster ProSiebenSat1 is planning a dedicated channel for Austria under the working title of Österreich-Mix. It will be distributed on DTT, DTH and cable. Despite its name, the new channel will not be mix of ProSieben and Sat1 programmes. Both channels are already available for cable and satellite viewers in an Austrian version.
Earlier this year ProSiebenSat1 also acquired the local TV station Puls TV, which will probably also get regional DTT distribution in Vienna and environs.
