According to data published by the Hungarian Statistical Office (KSH), the number of Internet subscriptions in the country amounted to 1,569,113 as of the end of June 2007, or 6.17% more than three months earlier. The majority (682,363, or 43.5%) were via xDSL, followed by cable (472,927, 30.1%), though wireless (328,641, 20.9%) was also popular. Other, much less used technologies included leased line and ISDN. The net income from Internet access services in Q2 amounted to HUF26.176 billion (€103.2 million).
