Stig Eide Sivertsen, executive vice president and head of Telenor Broadcast, is to leave the company after 10 years. Sivertsen has handed in his resignation that has a notice period of six months.
“It has been exciting to be a part of this, and a privilege to lead Telenor Broadcast into what it is today. I will miss many skilled colleagues when I leave Telenor. I have, however, decided to pursue opportunities outside Telenor,” said Sivertsen in a prepared statement.
Jon Fredrik Baksaas, Telenor’s president and CEO expressed regret at Sivertsen’s departure. “He has delivered a solid performance for the company, and the success of Telenor Broadcast is attributable to him and his team.” Baksaas said this would now be developed with new management.
