This Wednesday SES-Astra and Sportdigital.tv will announce details of the introduction of Sportdigital.tv on Entavio during a press conference in Hamburg. At present the channel is only available as a paid web TV service specialising in sports such as volleyball, basketball and handball. It is owned by Sportfive and has the rights to the Handball-Bundesliga (BBL) and Basketball-Bundesliga (BBL) live games.
Full details of the new service are expected to be announced during the upcoming press meeting. At present viewers of the Internet TV streams can buy separate subscriptions per sport covered.
