During the first half year of 2007 German cable operator PrimaCom AG increased its turnover from €57.9 million to €58.1 million compared with the same period last year. This is the first time that the loss of analogue customers has been compensated by higher income from other products.
The best performing product is broadband Internet access, as on June 30, 2007 the company had 37,638 broadband customers, compared with 17,652 a year ago. The number of telephony customers meanwhile grew from 5,302 to 22,700 during the same period.
During H1 2007 the operating result increased from €2.61 million to €5.0 million, mainly because of cost cutting measures. EBITDA was €23.6 million.
