Widevine Technologies, a provider of downloadable conditional access, digital rights management, digital copy protection and watermarking solutions to more than 125 video operators worldwide, will demonstrate its wares that enable secure delivery of multimedia content to telco, cable, mobile and Internet service providers.
Widevine claims its Cypher products offer content protection over any network infrastructure to a wide range of consumer devices, including STBs, PCs and mobile handsets. They also provide secure digital media distribution over the open Internet to PCs, Macs and other PC-based consumer devices, as well as post-decryption protection against unauthorized recording and distribution of multimedia content on PCs and other untrusted PC platforms. The company’s Mensor adds forensic watermarking to the mix.
Widevine will also show how it secures the IPTV deployments of Elion in Estonia, Lattelecom in Latvia and Sonaecom in Portugal.
