Chellomedia’s premium sports channels today said it acquired mobile web portal Sportsplaza, a Dutch language sports news service. The portal covers over 60 different sports with news, video clips, pictures, live score updates and more. According to the company Sportsplaza is one of the top three Dutch mobile portals.
Sport1 also announced it has renewed the contract for live coverage of the English Premier League games for the premium channel. The agreement also includes rights to clips for mobile TV.
