The latest report by CR Media Consulting shows that net ad spend in Poland was 9.7% higher in H1 2007 than in the corresponding period last year. However, growth in the second quarter (9.2%) was down on that in the first (10.4%). TV was again the most lucrative medium, growing 12.1%, equivalent to PLN185.1 million (€49.1 million), year-on-year, in H1. The Internet, though, grew by an even higher 46.7%, while the press and radio generated much more modest increases of 3% and 4.6% respectively. CR Media Consulting notes that growth in TV ad spend is a reflection of the fact that rates have risen steadily in the last three years.
