Akamai Technologies will be making its debut at IBC 2007. The company specialises in content and application delivery services and is a force in providing video streaming and Internet TV services to broadcasters and global content owners. Its customers include the BBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Columbia Video Network, France Television, MTV and News Corporation.
During the show Akamai will be unveiling new solutions geared toward the digital media industry, which support its existing market offerings. Visitors to its stand (number 252 in Hall 11) will also be able to experience and learn about Akamai’s full range of broadcast and media solutions.
Akamai’s complete suite of offerings now includes an enterprise-class, rich media management solution that helps content owners capitalize on the value of their digital assets and stay in complete control of the content and brand. The solution provides a simple, automated way for content owners to manage and distribute large digital libraries, including video and audio assets, online.
