The Polish national commercial broadcaster TVN is looking into the possibility of expanding to other countries. Speaking to the local press, its VP Karen Burgess said that one possible target was Ukraine, though at this stage no decision has been made. She also refused to confirm that TVN has allocated up to PLN1 billion (€266.7 million) for foreign acquisitions. Separately, it has been reported that TVN’s owner ITI Group will have access to the public broadcaster TVP’s archives for content to be aired on its latest thematic channel TVN Religia, due to make its debut this autumn.
