TDC Cable TV both helped and hindered its parent company in the second quarter. The division was able to deliver more customers and a higher ARPU, but higher programming costs, from the introduction of new channels, and greater staff numbers impacted on revenues.
Customer revenues for the period ending June 30, 2007 stood at DKr708 million (€95.12m), compared to DKr604 in the corresponding period in 2006, representing a rise of 16.8%.
EBITDA rose by 31.1% to DKr194m in the second quarter, while EBIT increased from DKr96m in 2Q 2006 to DKr 134m in 2Q 2007 due to higher EBITDA.
