The Russian telco Golden Telecom has posted consolidated revenues of $297.9 million (€216.6 million) for Q2, or 51% more than in the corresponding period last year. At the same time, its EBITDA was 41% up year-on-year to $81.6 million and net income by 46% to $33 million. The company, which completed the acquisition of the IPTV provider Corbina Telecom at the end of May, ended Q2 with 297,200 broadband subscribers, of who 22,800 were FTTB, 29,200 wireless (WiFi) and 45,200 xDSL. Corbina Telecom’s IPTV service is meanwhile expected to have up to 10,000 subscribers by the end of the year.
