Data produced by Starlink shows that the Internet was the fastest growing medium in terms of ad spend in Poland in the first half of the year. It posted a figure of PLN286 million (€75.8 million), or 39.6% more than in the corresponding period in 2006. Cinema was the next most successful with a 13.6% rise to PLN35.2 million, though third placed TV, up by 13.1% to PLN1.625.8 million, remained by far the most popular medium with advertisers overall. Advertisers spent a total of PLN3.13 billion in H1 2007, as opposed to PLN2.8 billion a year earlier.
