Slovenia’s Post and Electronic Communications Agency (APEK) has ordered the incumbent telco Telekom Slovenije to reconvert customers’ lines that it forced to change from PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) to ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) in order to receive broadband Internet access. According to local reports, APEK deemed the link to be discriminatory and forced Telekom Slovenije to scrap it two years ago. Some 100,000 broadband subscribers are likely to be affected by the decision.
