The Polish incumbent telco TPSA has revealed plans to launch what would be the country’s fourth DTH platform. Speaking to the local press, Maciej Witucki, the president of the France Telecom-backed company, said that the service would be less sophisticated than those already operated by Cyfrowy Polsat, Cyfra+ and n and target parts of the country currently inaccessible to TPSA’s IPTV service Videostrada. Although he refused to divulge a launch date, a decision on one is likely to be made later this year.
