The leading Spanish cable operator ONO has posted revenues of €410 million for Q2, or 0.7% more than in the corresponding period in 2006. Its EBITDA meanwhile amounted to €160 million (+17%), though it also lost a net €187 million in the quarter, as opposed to €14 million 12 months earlier. The latter was put down to amortisation with respect to the acquisition of Auna, and if taken out of the equation actually left ONO with a profit of €14 million in the second quarter. ONO secured an additional 62,000 cable and 108,000 broadband Internet subscribers in the first half of this year. As of the end of June 575,000 of its 1.86 million cable customers received triple play services.
