Canal+ and Disney International Television have announced an agreement for the distribution of more than 170 movies on a VOD basis. Under the terms of the deal, the movies, from the catalogues of Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone Pictures, will be made available on a non-exclusive basis. They will be offered to subscribers to the download site Canalplay, which made its debut in October 2005 and already offers over 3,000 titles on a VOD basis. Besides being offered by Canal+ itself, Canalplay can also be accessed through the Free ADSL service.
