Telefónica has posted an across-the-board growth figures for the 12th consecutive quarter, with its revenues (10.6%), OIBDA (21.9%), OI (45.9%) and net profit in Q2 all significantly higher than three months earlier. As of the end of June the telco had a total of 4.2 million retail broadband access lines in Spain, or 36.8% more than at the end of Q2 2006. The corresponding figures elsewhere were 500,000 (+60.9%) for the rest of Europe and 4.4 million (+36.8%) for Latin America. In Spain, Telefónica added 32,307 pay-TV subscribers in Q2, bringing the total to 450,925. As of the end of June it accounted for just under 12% of the country’s pay-TV market.
