Canal+ has recorded a 21-year record for the largest number of subscriber acquisitions in June. The pay-TV operator is benefiting from a consolidation in the market following its merger with former DTH rival TPS.
As of June 30, 2007 the number of subscribers stands at 5.2 million – an increase of 102,000 from 12 months ago.
Yesterday, Canal reported second quarter consolidated revenues of €439 million, an increase of €28 million from €411 million in the Q2 2006.
