Telecom Italia has denied reports that it plans to sell its subsidiary Telecom Italia Media. Earlier this week reports indicated that the Italian telco was engaged in talks with Bertelsmann and Goldman Sachs Group, with a view to disposing of Telecom Italia Media for around €1 billion by the end of this month. Telecom Italia Media’s interests include the TV stations La7 and MTV Italia, along with the multimedia wire agency APCom. It is also a key player in Italy’s DTT, satellite, web and mobile sectors.
