According to a report produced by Factum Invenio, 53% of Czechs now use the Internet, as opposed to 44% in 2005. The number of homes connected to the Internet has meanwhile risen from 24% to 37% of the total in the last two years. Speaking to the local press, Michal Peca from Factum Invenio said that one of the biggest obstacles to the take-up of Internet services in the Czech Republic remained their high cost.
