According to data produced by AGB Nielsen Media Research, news-based TVN24 was the most popular thematic channel in Poland in the first half of the year. Its national audience of 2.65% was up from 1.62% in the corresponding period in 2006 and considerably ahead of joint second placed Cartoon Network/TCM (0.71% v 0.83%) and Jetix (0.71% v 0.66%), followed by Mini Mini (0.62% v 0.39%), Eurosport (0.52% v 0.62%) and Viva Polska (0.49% v 0.39%). TVN24 was also the most popular channel in June this year with a 2.94% share, Jetix claiming second spot with 0.92%.
