Emuse Absolutely has been named as a preferred supplier if interactive advertising services to the BT Vision IPTV platform. Emuse and BT Vision will operate the service jointly. It will run on the Microsoft Mediaroom application programming interface that has been designed to offer a richer support for Web services and applications.
Emuse Absolutely CEO Patrick Rainsford described the deal as an excellent opportunity. “BT Vision is a very exciting offering for viewers and advertisers alike, and it allows us the opportunity to create and deploy much richer and faster interactive advertising with true accountability,” he said.
Interactive advertising has become a regular feature of the Sky Digital platform, but has yet to establish itself on cable and DTT platforms. Rainsford says that Emuse is now in a position to offer interactive content on every available platform.
