EuroNews looks to Czech DTT

June 27, 2007 08.13 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Speaking to the local press, EuroNews president Philippe Cayla has said that the channel aims to secure distribution on one of the DTT multiplexes in the Czech Republic. He added that although the service is no longer carried on the public broadcaster’s second channel CT2, it is still distributed by cable and cooperating with the incumbent telco Telefónica O2 with a view to also securing carriage on IPTV and mobile.
