The Polish DTH platform Cyfra+ will add the HD channels Canal+ Film HD and National Geographic HD to its line-up at the beginning of next month. It will also start broadcasting matches from the Polish premier football league Orange Ekstraklasa on Canal+ Sport HD in the format from July 27. Cyfra+’s HD channels will be offered as optional extras, the two Canal+ HD channels as a package and National Geographic HD separately, each for PLN6 (€1.58) a month. Cyfra+, which currently has 950,000 subscribers, also plans to open its own advanced call centre on September1.
