The incumbent Polish telco TP can expect its broadband Internet subscriber total to rise by over 100% from its end-2006 figure to 3.5 million by 2011. That, at least, is the view of analysts discussing the future of the France Telecom-backed company as it puts the final touches to a strategic review, due out in the next few weeks. They also believe that by 2011 around 40% of TP’s fixed line customers will have broadband Internet access but do not give any projections on the take-up of its IPTV service. TP’s annual investment is meanwhile likely to remain at its current level of PLN3 billion (€782.8 million).
