The Italian public broadcaster RAI has launched a new interactive WebTV (www.rai.tv) service that permits users to watch a selection of RAI programs. According to Rainet president, Giampaolo Rossi, the initiative aims to attract younger viewers who have been abandoning the terrestrial TV channels over the years. A total of €6 million has been invested in the project.
