Viasat has signed an agreement with TV2 Danmark that will see the Danish station broadcast on Viasat’s DTH platform from next month until the end of 2014. It will also allow for the carriage of TV2 Zulu, TV2 Charlie and TV2 Film in its broadband offering through the Danish broadband network Dansk Bredband over the same period. Under the deal, TV2 will be made available as part of Viasat’s DTH and broadband offer and the remaining services on the Viasat Gold broadband offer in Denmark. Denmark is served by both Viasat and Canal Digital, while Dansk Bredband is a leading triple play company that has distribution agreements with both DTH platforms.
