A Hungarian version of the international music channel MTV will officially be launched on October 1 this year. The news was given by Bhavneeet Singh, the senior VP and managing director, MTVNI emerging markets, and reported in the local press. MTV already operates branded localised services in Poland, Romania and parts of the former Yugoslavia (MTV Adria). The sale of MTV Russia to the local company Pro-Media was announced this Monday (June 4).
