In France National Geographic Channel HD is now available on the IPTV service from Free. The channel transmits in HD 16:9 with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound for 18 hours a day. During the month of June the channel is free of charge to all Freebox owners, from July 1st a monthly subscription fee of €3.99 is payable.
