The Czech Broadcasting Council (RRTV) is reported to have granted DVB-H distribution licences to both the music channel Ocko and radio station Radio Proglas. However, it has refused to also award one to T-Mobile for legislative reasons. The RRTV has, in addition, granted a 12-year satellite licence to a new lifestyle channel named Apatyka. Owned by Zelená apotéka, a company believed to be linked to a former government minister for work and social affairs, Apatyka is expected to be a 24-hour service aimed at viewers aged 13+. It is likely to have distribution in neighbouring Slovakia and in other parts of Europe.
