The Polish MSO Aster has added TVP Historia to its digital programme offer. TVP Historia made its debut on May 3, becoming the public broadcaster TVP’s third thematic channel after TVP Kultura and TVP Sport, and is likely to be joined by at least one more service – TVP Rozrywka – in the near future. Other channels recently introduced by Aster include HBO Comedy and Superstacja. The operator currently has 368,000 cable TV subscribers and 48,000 receiving digital TV services in Warsaw, Kraków and Zielona Góra. It also has 115,000 broadband Internet and 40,000 VoIP customers.
