According to data produced by Starlink, Poland’s ad market was worth PLN1.3 billion (€346.1 million) in Q1 2007, as opposed to PLN1.15 billion in the corresponding quarter in 2006. The greatest growth was noted in the Internet sector (+54.4%), followed by TV (+13.4%) and cinema (+12.4%), while newspapers posted the lowest total (+0.9%). Starlink points out that the figures will have been affected by an increase in the number of radio and TV stations monitored in the first quarter of this year.
