Data produced by TNS Emor shows that the Schibsted-backed national commercial station Kanal 2 was the most watched in Estonia in April this year, with an audience share of 21.5% amongst viewers aged 4+. It was closely followed by MTG’s TV3 (19.9%), with the public broadcaster ETV in third place (16.7%) and the Russian channel PBK the next most popular (12.2%). Other Russian stations also continued to perform well – RTP Planeta and NTV Mir claimed shares of 3.5% and 2.5% respectively – as did MTG’s thematic channel 3+, with 3.9%, while MTV Estonia posted only 0.4%. The average daily viewing time in Estonia in April was three hours and 59 minutes.
