The leading Spanish cable operator Ono has announced a series of price rises for its customers. Due to come into effect at the beginning of next month, they will see the cost of some of its packages, though especially those including pay-TV services, increase by up to 50%. Ono, which lists Multitel (21%), CCMP, Providence Equity and Thomas H. Lee Company (15.2% each) as its main shareholders, began this year with 1.802 million residential cable subscribers.
