Data produced by TNS OBOP shows a sharp decline in the year-on-year audience share amongst viewers aged 4+ for the Polish public broadcaster’s second channel, TVP2. It claimed a figure of 17.70% in April this year, almost three percentage points less than the 20.64% 12 months earlier. However, in the general scheme of things there was little change last month, with TVP1 the most watched channel (23.71%) and news based TVN 24 (2.60%) the highest based thematic service. However, Polsat (20.60%) took over from TVP1 as the most popular channel amongst aged 18-49, while TVN (19.51%) remained the most watched among urban viewers aged 18-49.
