2waytraffic launches mobile division

May 2, 2007 08.54 Europe/London By Robert Briel

2waytraffic NV, the Dutch interactive content company has announced that 2waytraffic’s mobile content division Emexus has been fully integrated into its business. Emexus, acquired in June 2006, has been re-launched as 2waytraffic mobile.

The new company has been established to facilitate 2waytraffic’s growth ambitions regarding the creation, exploitation and roll-out of mobile entertainment services and to maximise the synergy and efficiency advantages gained since the acquisition.

2waytraffic mobile combines Emexus’ technical expertise and established marketing and distribution platform with 2waytraffic’s mobile content and entertainment services. This offering will result in full coverage of the value chain, enabling the company to fully exploit the interactive content opportunities that the next generation of mobile technology will provide.

The company, headed by managing director Raymond Kokken, is headquartered in Hilversum, the Netherlands with local offices in New York (2waytraffic mobile Americas), Kuala Lumpur (2waytraffic mobile Asia Pacific) and Kiev (2waytraffic mobile Ukraine). The Group’s technical team continues to operate from Almere, the Netherlands. The Group is active in over 20 countries and has an extensive network across Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region. It recently expanded its activities into Indonesia, Australia and South Africa.
