The Polish cable operator Aster has added the Disney Channel to its basic analogue offer as of today (May 1). Aster is the country’s fourth largest MSO after UPC, Vectra and Multimedia Polska and was one of the first to introduce a digital TV service. This currently has 47,000 subscribers, while Aster as a whole has 368,000 cable TV customers in Warsaw, Kraków and Zielona Góra. Disney Channel meanwhile claims to have over 175 million viewers in over 100 countries worldwide.
