Last Friday German cable operator Primacom reported a lower turnover because of the loss of analogue subscribers, which has not been compensated by income from other services. Compared with last spring turnover decreased 1.6% to €116.4 million. Total losses for the 12 month period have now reached €15.1 million.
The number of analogue subscribers went down by 5.8%, internet customers increased by 70% and totaled 27,016 households at the end of 2006. Primacom has not released figures about the total RGUs nor about the number of digital homes connected. A year earlier Primacom said it served about one million households.
