Arris Group has posted revenues of $253.5 million (€185.8 million) for Q1 2007, or 13% more than in the corresponding period in 2006. At the same time, its net income was up by 81.6% year-or-year to $37.6 million. The figures were boosted by demand for the company’s VoIP and high-speed data products, though it points out that they were also affected by the termination of the Tandberg Television transaction. Revenues from Arris Group’s broadband products meanwhile amounted to $80.2 million in Q1 2007, as opposed to $92.4 million in the previous quarter and $85.4 million in Q1 2006. US-based Arris Group is a leading manufacturer of broadband network system products and solutions and has deployed around 5 million cable telephony lines around the world.
