All electronic media in Serbia are to be privatised by end of this year. However, while the country’s Privatisation Agency says there are still 38 radio and TV stations waiting to be sold, there is as yet no schedule in place for an auction. The Belgrade TV station Studio B, which posted revenues of €4,313,946 in 2006, is one of those on the market but would like to remain a public service broadcaster. According to its general manager Dragana Milicevic Milutinovic, this would be possible if parliament amended a single article of the broadcasting law.
