The Finnish public broadcaster YLE has said it is to postpone the launch of its mobile TV services until at least the end of the year. The broadcaster cited the combination of copyright issues and the limited number of handsets in the market that were capable of handling the DVB-H technology.
Finland’s first mobile TV network was established last December by the transmission company Digita. It is available in central Helsinki, Turku and Oulu.
