The Czech national commercial station TV Nova has announced its best viewing figures of the year so far. In the week ending April 1 it had an audience share of 45.67% amongst viewers aged 15-54 and 42.31% of those aged 15+. In primetime, the figure rose to 51.11% in the 15-54 group. Data published by ATO consistently puts the CME-backed broadcaster ahead of its rivals. In the week ending March 18, 2007 TV Nova claimed 41.67% of viewers aged 15+. Publicly owned CT’s two national channels CT1 and CT2 meanwhile accounted for 22.12% and 8.28% respectively, while Prima TV had 19.42% and cable and satellite services only 8.51%.
