German regional public broadcaster WDR will launch a T-DMB test in the region of Cologne in the second quarter of this year. The service will be available free-to-air to all suitable receivers, this includes people who subscribe to the T-DMB service from Deutsche Mobilen Fernsehen (DMF) . The broadcaster expects the technical trial will show that reception will be possible everywhere, also indoors.
